All the direct trains from Copenhagen were filled up today, so I had to take a bit more indirect route, but ultimately got there. Because my ride was a bit longer and I left a bit later I didn't get in here until around 7:30pm, but I have 4 nights booked, so I still have plenty of time to explore the city. My short time walking about to get to my hostel and find dinner afterwards were enough to let me make a few quick observations/comments on the city though!
1) The weather was gorgeous. I hope the rain stays away, but after all the heat and humidity of the last few months this evening was like a late-September evening at home, when it's just warm enough to be comfortable in a tshirt (at least for me), but with a briskness to the air that fills you with energy.
2) There are a lot of Asian people in Copenhagen. Strange.
3) Convenience culture! There have been so many nights that at 7pm, or 10pm, or 2am I just get a craving for a snack or something to drink, and the only things open are restaurants and bars. I haven't seen any 7-elevens in Europe, until Copenhagen. Here, I counted 6 of them in the approximately 1km between the Central Station and my hostel. 6! That's like... More than one a block probably.
4) Copenhagen seems a bit tacky, kind of like Niagra Falls. It has both Ripley's Believe It Or Not and a Guiness World Records museums, and I find the city center has a lot of marquee facades, and flashing lights. I'm sure things calm down a bit further from this area though.
The map I got for the city includes a suggested walking route to see the highlights of the city, so I think I'll try that out tomorrow and see where that leads.

So now that you're in Copenhagen, and I presume going to Sweden next, what is happening with the next leg of your trip, i.e. the far east, or has that changed?
I'll include that in a post when I'm wrapping up Europe. It's complicated, but I haven't been idle with the issues I face.
